I am with Olé fibre optic 100mb broadband and am now having trouble with my IPTV provider, Television Technology. Their Catchup TV crashed a couple of weeks ago and they say that everybody else is now receiving the full service. However, ours is still not working and they are blaming Olé saying that they must be blocking it. They refuse to accept that it could be their server at fault. Is anybody else with Olé and having IPTV problems?

It is not uncommon. I had a client who also could not access on demand content. Just him. Everyone else was fine. But when I connected their box via 4g, the content was available. Proving their internet supplier was the one causing problems and blocking the service / url. If it was an issue with TT servers, then everyone would have an issue, and would certainly prompt them to sort out quickly, and not take "a couple of weeks".

Thank you for that. Is there anything I can do? I emailed Olé yesterday and await their reply. What would you advise me to do?

After contacting Olé, who assured me that I have sufficient and stable bandwidth, Television Technology are refusing to support their IPTV, saying that they have wasted too much time on a matter they consider to be an ISP problem. They will not give a refund for the remainder of my subscription which was renewed for a year in June. The strange thing is that I was able to get catchup before their server crashed. So I am left without a full service and nowhere to turn. Their written comments regarding Olé have been highly unprofessional and indeed potentially libellous. If anybody has a solution to my problem, your help would be much appreciated. Thank you.
