There is special transfer tax on used cars less than 10 years old if bought from private owners. This tax is variable depending on make and age of the vehicle but not on it's shape and condition.

So if i want t buy a secobd hand car privately, i have t pay a tax???? To who,,. If i buy one from a car sales dealer, do i still have t pay this tax?,,,

Hi Ger1, We bought our car from EasyCars Torrevieja. They have a showroom/garage in Punta Prima, along from the Punta Marina shopping centre, opposite the Hotel Torrevejon. Price includes transfer fee and (if price not reduced) basic car insurance. You can upgrade it if wished. They were recommended to us by several people, have a good reputation, good after sales care. Worth a look. Check out their website.

I have a 2004 VW Passat estate automatic with 1 years ITV (MOT) for 2000 euros. Its quite a large car maybe not for you?
