To buy a car and register it in your name you will need a rental contract and a TIE identity card. If you have not got them then you cannot buy a car!

Yes!! That is perfect! Now what is your budget? What kind of car? There are several gestors who can help you but none and the outfits that tell you that they can do it locally just inflate the price and subcontract the job. You should pay about 170 euros for the transfer of a cheap car to yourself any more and you are being ripped off. That happens a lot!
