Midges

Hi Everyone
I've been attacked by midges since arriving a couple of days ago. Can anyone please recommend an insect repellent and if possible something to soothe the existing bites.

You need to buy any of the half dozen serious repellants and gels/creams available in most supermarkets. I.E, Autan, Bloom, Raid etc. You also need the plug in repellents in the bedroom, no one has informed the mosquitoes and other voracious insects that they should have died off by now. There is a Spanish made gel called something like Fenestil which is supposed to help.
I’m afraid everything needs to be a serious product of the chemical industrial complex, this is war and nothing else really works!
