Hi, My Mum is here staying with us for a couple of months. She has a lump on her leg that needs looking at by a doctor. We have been to the chemist who gave her antibiotic ointment which hasn’t worked.
Where is the best place to go to get treatment for her please?

Hello

Does she have travel insurance with medical cover? If so then check with the insurers where is compatible with them.

If not,   it will have to be a private doctor in your area ( you can google to find the nearest) or private  clinic. . .  http://www.imedtorrevieja.com/en/

or private hospital, this one is on the way to La Mata    https://www.quironsalud.es/torrevieja/en

Cheers

I am on the understanding, That a valid GHIC/EHIC can be used in any Public Sector Hospital in Spain for Free treatment ( The University Hospital of Torrevieja) These are available free in the UK for foreign travel, the UK Government also advise to take out Private Travel insurance to cover repatriation.
