Hi there,

My husband and I and our 2 year old son are in search of a new life in Spain, we have started our search in the costa blanca and just cant decide on an area. We are coming in nov to have a look around.

I just really want to get peoples suggestions on areas they like.

i have been looking online at playa flamenca, santa pola, la marina, los alcazares etc.

am getting mixed messages. Ideally we want somewhere with nice schools, a freindly safe community, a bit of life, an expat communitie but maybe somewhere that still has a traditional feel.

I am a hairdresser and may need to work part time, so any english salons etc?

thank you x

Kimmy11 - I've nothing to add to this thread, apart from to say that you've given a superb overview of this area - well done!
