If you use unregistered chancers you run the risk of the car being stopped by the police and being stranded at the side pf the road, possibly fined as well. If there is an accident there will be no insurance.
When you say "people", do you mean paying guests? If you have a tourist licence this could be at risk as well I imagine.

There is transfer buses that can do the run for you, a google search will sort that for you. A private transfer will be around €60 if that suits. If looking for faster/cheaper way then Best to ask a friend to do the trip for you for no reward. The fact you get them to call in to a filling station en-route is of no consequence 😉.

Enjoy your stay.

Beniconnect are one of many transfer companies operating from Alicante to different areas. They run coaches, minibuses, 7 seaters and cars for transfers..... all different prices. We use them regularly.

See https://www.beniconnect.com/en/shuttle-airport-transfer/ for details.
