Just an update for anyone considering signing the Padron at Playa Flamenca.
System now involves attending town hall at 7.30am. The guard/ concierge opens the door and distributes a limited amount of tickets to those waiting. Building is then closed again until 8.30 opening. My advice would be to get there as early as possible as folk were queuing at 7am this morning.

Thanks for that post. It's good to know. I think they'll be people camping out overnight next! How ridiculous can it get?

Surely in this day and age and all of us coming to bring this beautiful country back on its feet they would have a better system ... honestly it’s in the dark ages with these sort of problems
