As a retired British Ex Pat I am endeavouring to gain residency in Spain via a Non Lucrative Visa. Has  anyone had dealings good or bad with Cabray International solicitors who operate out of Madrid and offer a service to obtain  the visa?

Don't you have to apply for the NLV at a Spanish Embassy in the UK before you leave? Not once you are in Spain?

NLV applications must be made in person at one of 3 Spanish Consulates in the UK either London, Manchester or Edinburgh depending on your UK address. You may be wasting money by engaging a solicitor in Spain. This link explains the NLV application process and the documents needed in support of it:
