LOL, I actually used to, Ive worked in private schools and nursery’s as a catering manager,  so used to do  cooking with the children. If you want the recipe for that massive yorkie let me know, it NEVER fails 😎

Anne, a friend of ours was a chef. He used to make Yorkshires in advance, rather than messing about getting the timing right. Then he'd give them a few minutes in the oven before serving. They tasted perfectly OK to me. Did you do that?

Like the picture - looks like one I had all to myself, filled with stew, when I did the Coast to Coast walk.

I do that Jim. If I am doing Yorkshire’s at home I make a tray full and freeze thrones we don’t eat then just grab a couple when we need them and give them a couple of mins in the air fryer, always perfect!

Thanks Anne. I've been known to snaffle some of Margaret's left overs, warm in oven, and drizzle with maple syrup or a bit of jam.

Are you from Yorkshire? My mum used to do that!  Your wife sounds like a great cook!

LOL Jim, I always make them fresh as needed, but that’s a good tip. That one in the picture is in a baking tin 40x30cm that would have kept you full for a while Jim 😋

M's Sheffield, I'm Lancashire, and we lived at Bedale before the move here. Both red and white roses can be a bit prickly at times, but we get on very well - as long as she does what she's told! (sorry girls).

It would do me for a few days now, but the one I remember eating was after a 21 mile walk with a 30 lb rucksac on my back.

Hi just remember to sieve the flour, it always has bits in it and it’s not as fine as UK flour. I have no problem making Yorkshires, this whopper fed 8 of us 😱

Only answering to this post. (From the foto!)  now........"sapo del hoyo".. Mmmmmmmmmmm. V
