You sound very switched on but if it did get as far as you having to raise their discriminatory actions at the AGM please remember to have the subject listed in the main agenda of the AGM, if it was raised in ' any other business ' I believe that voting wouldn't be allowed.

Yes Kenbo I have already noted that. In fact, since a lot of British people are facing the same problem, I intend listing it on the agenda regardless.

I closed my Sabadell account over the telephone and I rang the UK number (02073210029). As other members say you have to take every cent out of your account and make sure you have your Dad's sorted with wise. To be fair I found the person from Sabadell very helpful and it was quite easy. Hope you are all sorted.

Thank you. In the process of contacting utilities etc but not the best week for doing this. Made a note of the UK number if we get no joy from Barcelona. Thank you again

Yes you are correct in this. It must be listed on the main AGM agenda and remember, its the President who sets the agenda. So contact them in the first instance. The Administrator works for the Community via the President. However some Administrators think they run the Community's.

We've been with Sabadell since buying in Spain in 2009 with no problems and due to my age get no bank charges as long as I don't overdraw. It may be easier to transfer all of your DD's to your new bank and keep your Sabadell account  "live " with just enough available in there in case you ever need a second bank account?

Hi I have had wise account almost a year all was well then without warning my debit stoped working. When inquiring was told there was an issue and woukd take between 5 to 10 working days to sort it out.

Then I received an e mail saying that thay have cancled my direct debits. 

Then without any worning cancled all my standing orders. 

There was over 3,000 euroes and 3,500 pounds in my accounts and no way of paying anybody. I have emailed several times but can't get them to reply. 

I managed to transfer the pounds to a UK account then  l had to set up a Spanish bank account to get the Euros out so I could pay my bills. Two months have passed and no word from Wise what the problem is or when it would be sorted meanwile account still open but frozen.
