Things have changed in 12 years Steve. It is not just Sabadell it is nearly all banks including UK ones. It is a refection on society now as it indicates the amount of fraud and money laundering that is taking place. As another post stated. Designed to catch criminals it is Mr. & Mrs. Bloggs who have been drawn into the net and inconvenienced.   

EURO REGS FOR ALL MEMBERS

Unless you have a specific need to have a Sabadell account I would dump it. They have been charging me €20 per month for having an account with no benefits. When I tried to close the account they made it extremely difficult to do so without actually flying out to Spain for that purpose. They continue to charge me and phoneme weekly to tell me I owe them money - but are still unable to close my account without me going there. They are an awful bank.

Nor me. It's standard, not someone sitting down and asking Brit pensioners one by one to explain themselves.

Intrusive is Passport officers in the UK asking what my purpose was for entering England. I have a British passport and was born in Bristol!!!

Didn't answer, he asked again and I still didn't answer, waved me through. Guess he didn't like my surname.

As Marcliffe said, your recent pension letter from April telling you what your new pension is for 2023 should suffice. You can upload it to your account on the Bank’s mobile app or just take it into the bank the next time you’re out. I’ve just uploaded mine.

We had a night mare with sabadell, too many to list,wouldn't touch them with a barge pole,we now use wise,and they have been great,answering emails, speak to you on the phone, solving problems, would highly recommend them.
