Thanks again Pedro, I am with Hidraqua, your bill seems to be with another company with much less service charges than mine.

Hello   Saints1877

Just as a comparison, my bill for mid  Oct,Nov,Dec was E50.58, I am with Agamed.

Cheers

We paid around 35 euros in the past, even if we didn't use any water in our holiday place. I went to ask in the office, as I thought somebody was taking our water. They explained, that it is very expensive to supply drinking water and you pay into the scheme extra money.

Thank you

Good afternoon all

Please does anyone know of any good cleaner in playa flamenca, I have someone who comes in from Torrevieja but thinks it might be better getting someone from nearby

Thank you

Ire

We are coming out this week to pick up keys for our Townhouse which initially will be a holiday home, we were considering buying a dishwasher but having second thoughts after reading posts on water charges any experience or recommendations would be welcome and any other relevant comments please.

Most modern dishwashers use very little water. A lot of the water costs are standing charges so using it won’t have a huge impact on your water bills is my opinion.

Really? Water charges for the actual water are quite cheap in Spain. Particularly considering what I was paying in UK. The standing charges are the expensive bits as you pay for meter rental, standing charge, provision of water, sewage and wastewater removal etc. The actual water charges are the least things you need to worry about. In UK the average bill is around £37 a month and that is more than we've been paying per quarter for the last 18 months. Now they are recouping the amount it still works out at about half the UK quarterly bill.

And you will use more water using the sink than you will with a dishwasher.

Hi all Kenny here again, my water bill €82.62 of which over 90% were service charges. We have been told this is because the Valencian Govt have hiked up all charges from the turn of the year.

Has anyone else had their bill in from January 2024 yet ? reflecting what I have just  been told.

Kenny
