But it is "necessary", you're breaking the law.
On page 8 of this thread, you made contradictory posts - in one, you state, "By the way, you were wrong about me getting residencia. I have it." Immediately afterwards, you posted, "Are you stupid? I am a uk resident. I don’t have my tie card so as yet don’t have documentary proof of residencia."
That's why I specifically asked you whether you had received confirmation of residency (the "resulto favorable"), even if you have yet to collect your TIE card. Why can't you just give a straight answer? People are trying to help you here, responding with anger and abuse is getting you nowhere.
With regard to police action, I'll give you a couple of examples. My sister-in-law has been living in the countryside near Catral for 15 years. One day, driving down the road towards the AP-7, a route she had been taking for years, she was pulled by police for speeding. Literally, overnight, they had changed the speed limits, but she hadn't noticed the new signs. She had no money on her, so they accompanied her to the cash point in Catral to withdraw the €100 fine. Her daughter's friend, resident in Spain but in a UK registered car she'd been driving (illegally) for over a year, was pulled over at a police checkpoint - her car was impounded and crushed.
