Looking to buy my first caravan and he has never had any security to prevent theft. As I am going to be touring Europe I think I prefer to have it locked when I leave it particularly when I go back to uk. Any help or advice appreciated. To be honest I have no idea what a tow hitch lock looks like. Can you think of anything else I may need please ?

Some caravans have a lock built into the tow hitch already. The wheel clamps are a better idea, you can pick them up at places like norauto or feu vert.
I remember a few vans being stolen from winter storage on one of the sites we were on, the thieves just unbolted the hitches from the caravans and presumably bolted another on.
