Hola, to everyone in San Miguel. We have an apartment in the town but still living in UK. We are desperately missing our holidays, but appreciate the great work you are all doing end this terrible virus. You are about 2 weeks ahead of us, and unfortunately some people here are not sticking to the 2 metre rules, so it will probably take longer here. Great news that admissions and deaths are reducing in Spain, it's all about following the advice and you seem to be doing it. Hopefully we can get out before all the airlines go bust, and spend some time in Casa Antonio's and others. Take care everyone.

Mick, we sold our place recently due to serious family health issues ( daughter in ICU for three months in December 2018), but we do miss San Mig. Antonios, Federo, Jota Jota, Estanco Maribel Collie Bar and the Old Mans café!

We were looking forward to visiting soon to meet up with frieds from France Sweden Germany UK and of course Spain. As HM said on Sunday last "We will meet again" Stay safe everyone - hasta pronto!

Some restrictions here in Spain have been lifted today but many feel too soon. Yes deaths have started declining, people diagnosed declining but have not heard about the numbers of people cured. Before anything happens and people start flocking yo Spain give things time.

Having worked across Europe for many years, it truly saddens me to see so  much heart breaking sorrow in the countries where I found so much delightful friendly welcomes. To EVERYONE not only in Europe but across the world, we will defeat this silent evil enemy and we will emerge triumphant. Take care all ,stay safe be strong and to repeat the words of our Sovereign Lady Elizabeth "We will meet again" with all those we hold dear. STAY SAFE - BE STRONG - BE ASSURED , we will come through!
