Physiotherapy.

More than 55 years ago, I sustained an injury to my shoulder. Cricket ball throwing competition . I won, but at what cost? Damaged the ligaments...in those days, you just 'sucked it up', and got on with life!

Unfortunately, the damage was done, and although it wasn't a daily problem, at times it was very painful.

Fast forward to now. I have been doing construction work on our last house, and the new one we bought down here , last year. Over the last 18 months, the shoulder became very painful, and constantly clicked every time I moved it, and sleeping became very hit and miss.

I posted about this, and I was given the name of a physiotherapist locally.

Because the local medical Centre was worse than useless , I decided to pay Kevin Thornton a visit, and have the problem assessed, with a view to undergoing some physio.

Well, I was invited to attend the surgery for a 15 minute assessment, and then went on for the first of 6 sessions. Mr. Thornton did some electrotherapy, and then manipulation of the shoulder.

Even with only one session, I could feel an improvement.

Although it will be impossible to rectify the injury entirely, because of the timespan since the original damage happened, the treatment I received was excellent, kind and considerate.

I have not been asked to write this review. I chose to do it because I wanted to recommend an excellent Service available for a modest fee, which actually WORKS.
