Maximum Length Of Stay

Hi, sorry if this has been asked 1000 times before but I keep finding different
answers to the above.
My wife and I have bought a property in Blue Lagoon. My wife would be looking to stay for a few months and I would visit as much as work would allow.
We have been trying to get a definite answer as to wether the length of stay is a max of 90 days or as UK Citizens the length of stay is as long as a valid passport is held.
I know that Brexit will or will not have an impact on this but what is it at present
Really looking forward to picking our keys up and get to enjoy our new adventure.
