We have a variety of nationalities on this forum, but I'm replying in English as that is the largest proportion.  I don't live in San Miguel, but I have been to the street market there and also the restaurant, 'Alingui', in the grounds of the castle.  You're also close to the salt lakes, where you can take a guided walk, but this may have been suspended because of Covid-19 restrictions.

I hope other members who live in the area can give you current information about the town and its facilities.  In the meantime, I hope you are settling well into your new home.

Sincères amitiés,

Kim
