Transferwise. Very secure, quick and easy. Some people may tell you that other companies don't charge fees, but their exchange rates are rarely as good as Transferwise and when net receipts into your bank are compared Transferwise usually comes out on top. When in the transaction phase on the website just be careful to check that the cost on the transfer is the right one for you.

You simply create an account with an email address. If you're nervous consider making a small tranfer first. For very large sums eg a property purchase it's probably wise to check with your Spanish bank as to at what level of transfer might attract a bank charge. There is no extra cost involved at Transferwise to split 100k into 3 transfers.

Many forum members use Transferwise and all have nothing but praise for them.

Kind regards, Steve

Been using Transferwise for 2 years now - highly recommend , used for house purchase funds , and now a variety of purposes on regular basis . You can have Pounds and Euro accounts - just note on Euros if you hold more than 15,000e in an account it will cost you after a month - the reason is ECB has gone to negative rates on Euros so there is a cost for TW in holding your Euros . ( All other currencies are fine no cost )

Hi there,

Apart from the exchange rate considerations, I find TransferWise just so “user friendly”

I use the smartphone app, and within seconds, with no hassle and without talking to anyone, I can transfer funds.

Just my own personal experience.

Best Regards....
