Looking for Alan & / or Carol Glover (Alan's Wife)

Well according to Spanish Privacy laws, I don't think they can give you an address. The registers they have are called Padrón. You could maybe ask then to call him for you, maybe that would work.

I thank you for replying and giving me some advice, I hope this is going to be my last leg and locate Alan as I have been looking for him for so long now, mind you  it did not help with all of his and my moving around, it got to the stage where I was thinking he may have died. I will do as you have suggested make contact and ask them to contact him, as I understand and accept the Data Protection Act. 

However can you please tell me when someone signs the Padrón the persons full details such as Name. DOB, Address and telephone number is listed? Reason for asking is I do not have any of these details other than Alan's and Carol (his wife) surname? Also I do not speak or read Spanish would it be ok do you think to send request to the town hall in English?

Peterflora, have you tried taking an advert out with the local radio stations, (Harmony and the likes), and perhaps if they read it out enough you will get a response from Alan/Carol or a neighbour that could pass on any relevant information.

Hello Mal, Must admit I have not done this yet for this area I did do it when he lived in Rojales area but had nil response from Alan or anyone who may have known him. I will try it again, I have tried looking for a telephone directory to check to see if he is or Carol is listed but could not find one for Sax. Are there any golf clubs nearby? As he was / is a keen golfer although the golf clubs will not tell any personnel details or if he uses the golf club the last ones I contacted in Rojales did put up notices for me but again had no response.
