Just to confirm, there is a certain member that posts topics to deliberately wind people up and then deletes them a few hours later - this is why you see "topic not found" for them, they even delete them before we get a chance to sometimes!
For Admin: Just a quick mention, again, whilst out chatting with a Spanish, construction company (showing interest aside with the forum) mentioned considering an English speaking persons to join the company. I remembered a “post”, which may have been interest (only in brief, & without the OP), but vanished almost between my eyes (another):
Unfortunately we can't find the page you requested. This could mean:
The author may have deleted the topic;
A moderator may have deleted the topic;
or the topic URL you entered is incorrect.
Whilst this morning, unsolicited advertisers incl emails and addresses are/were included. I hope there is some level field please Admin. It was early, and may disappear. I did send a report. Hope this helps

Villas, "the author may have deleted their own post" is the reason for 99% of posts being deleted. Myself and Jan rarely delete posts and when we do it is mostly spam.

Alex , an insertion by Admin, into the topic stating the Admin have deleted or edited a post ,with generalised reason for it, when it occurs would be most appreciated and immediately end any confusion .
Thanks,
LeckyLes.

But it's not the admin deleting the posts you are referring to?

Thanks Alex, you did state above The Admin does occasionally find it necessary to alter posts, my request was in response to that statement, referring to any future Admin deletions or edits to Forum posts

Yes, as I said in almost all cases of us deleting posts it is nonsensical spam posts posted by robots.
In the rare case of us deleting a non-spam posts we often PM the member when their post is deleted to explain the reason.

Thanks, once again Alex, I was wondering if it would be possible for Admin to insert a post in place of the removed, or edited post, when it should occur, informing all members of the deletion and the reason. Personally I think it would help members understand and reduce the need for ongoing clarification comments , such as this from disrupting the flow of the Forum.

Not sure if Admin will agree to the request to assist members, and lesson the occurrence of confusion, by agreeing to the insertion of an admin explanatory post if they delete or edit a Forum post.
Hopefully an answer will be given in due course.
