Try this link

https://sede.administracionespublicas.gob.es/infoext2/#

Select "consult with form" and then enter your NIE number, date of application submission and your date of birth - then click on "I am not a robot"

You should be presented with the outcome which is hopefully "favorable" - let us know what you get.

**edit** just added an image from my own concession letter. Highlighted in yellow are the bits which I think confirm an application is successful but use the link above to be certain.

excellent - you have 1 month now to book your visit to the Alicante office for presentation of the EX23 :)

Crack open a bottle :)

Yes - but the appointments are released at any time or any day as far as I am aware. The trick is to make sure you access the bookings site regularly as eventually some will/ should appear.

For what it's worth the gap between my wife's and my ex23 appointment was 2 weeks but we asked the clerk whether she could do my wife's when I had my appointment and she said yes. Just be prepared if they say no.
