Shocking the stories from spain,  think boris put us on a war footing , he mobilised the nation,  the eu diverd,  took to long , and still are , thank god for brexit!

Not sure if you're semi or permanent resident, but I wonder it must be awkward mixing with Johnny foreigner. Moving back to Blighty and pulling up the drawbridge would be ideal for you in Johnson land

Maybe it is the standard of living in Spain that appeals along with the sun shining, which of course is also down to President Johnson after he's finished walking on water

Must dash now as I am having a hell of a job with this repeat pattern of the £ sign on the gold wallpaper. May need some more rolls, but will need  more money. Think I'll go to John Lewis as I love that store, shame about the other half, but she knows whose boss

Now where is that list of Tory donors?

Oh of course it's with the £58,000 invoice/receipt/cheque stub/bank transfer confirmation. I must have one of these as I told everyone I had, just can't produce them, strange how things go missing!

First tomorrow May 12th in Torrevieja and second on June 2 in Guardamar.

So they getting there slowly,

Stay safe

I am 71 years young. I had my first vaccine three weeks ago and I have my second on Tuesday. I live in Calpe and the vaccine was given in Denia, 30 mins away by car. I was informed of the date and time of both jabs by text and received a reminder for the first one two days before. This morning I received a reminder for Tuesday. There seemed to be hundreds of people attending for their jab! It was being carried out in Centre Llunatics (strange but true). The police controlled entry via 'snake queueing'. At the entrance, temperatures were taken by non-contact reader and hand sanitiser was given to each person. The receptionists checked each SIP Card and directed you to a specific area which displayed a large number, so no mistake where you were going. The nurse/doctor administered my jab very quickly and I didn't feel anything at all. A paper was stuck to the front of my shirt stating the time (+ 15 minutes) which was the time I could leave after resting in a large seating area. Nurses/attendants walked around checking the times. There was a policeman and another attendant at the exit to prevent anyone leaving early. The 15 minutes was to check that there were no adverse effects to the jab. All done very efficiently! Good luck to those still waiting, your time will come. I'm very grateful to the Spanish Health Authority and would compare it favourably with the NHS, all of whom do a marvellous (and most times thankless) job. I have not had any side effects at all. Addendum; now attended in Denia and had my second jab, even quicker this time. My arm feels like it weighs a ton and aches quite badly - also, I'm very tired. Given a couple of pamphlets, one of which had a peel off piece of plastic which, when bent over in the middle, each side sticks together and is the size and feel of the SIP Card. It has my name, NIE Number and the dates and type of vaccine it was given. Super efficient. Thank you! Good luck to those of you still waiting.

Spain's former king Juan Carlos faces new corruption allegations. Remember him? The one who was forced to step down
before he was arrested and STILL under investigation over his role in a €6.7bn Saudi Arabia deal. Well it seems Spain’s attorney general has instructed supreme court prosecutors to investigate new corruption allegations against the country’s disgraced former king. I bet he could
swap places with Boris and for it all to be about a few rolls of wallpaper and not a allegation of a back hander of an €88m payment from Saudi Arabia’s King Abdullah in 2008. Wonder how many rolls of wallpaper he could buy for that amount LOL.

What IS Spanish for greed and corrupion anyway?

I think you’re completely wrong - if I can even understand your post. The vaccination programme in Spain is going really well. Maybe check out some accurate statistics before making such negative comments.

No, he's not wrong. The 19 to 49 yr old are now getting vaccines as all over 50s are done, bar the stragglers

H I an 72 and would like to know when I will get my vacation I am registered at Cabo Roig  health centre

I am also registered at the same health centre and received a text 10 days ago with the dates, times and places for my vaccine. I had my 1st one last Wednesday at Torrevieja and the 2nd one is on 2 June at Pilar de la Horadada. I am 66. My sister is 72 and got a call from the health centre - she had her 1st one there 10 days ago and her 2nd is next week again at the health centre. They do seem to be well organised do I don’t think it will be long. If you’re concerned perhaps pop in and check they have the right telephone number for you. Good luck.
