They are from Mister Zoo, and called "Empapadores para perros" they measure 45x33cm, 10 in a pack for 1,50E. Cutting them into 3 strips and carefully removing the plastic backing, they are an almost perfect fit into the thrice folded tea towels 37x37cm.
The tea towels according to the uni tests were quite good, and we saw someone in Italy who was using these doggy things without the backing in removable filters so as we already had these we tried it out. Getting the elastic tension right is important to getting a good face seal and and I have small ears which doesn't help, my wife is fine.
