I have a holiday home in Calle Pia Baroja and it's lovely - great neighbours - both residentail and fellow holiday home owners - Norwegian, Brazilian, Romanian, Italian, Irish & Spanish - look at some of the quiet roads at the back of the Fire Station - there were at least 4-5 different styles/sizes of houses for sale when I was over in Oct this year

Hi, Have a look at the web site for Casa Espana, they cover the areas that are being mentioned above. It will give you an idea of the house/apartment sizes and prices. Also 20kiki above is talking about the Torretta areas which are just behind the Fire Station. Good luck,

I can highly recommend Rob and Tracey from Orange Casas. They give personal one to one service, and only show you properties that fit your criteria. They even helped us move on our moving day. Brilliant service.

You have some very good advice from the other posters. Please consider Crevillent. Twenty minutes coast, 15 minutes airport, best health centre and hospital on the Costa Blanca, numerous supermarkets and facilities, 8 minutes to the new AVE station with access to all of Europe.
Kind regards
Richard

Hi ....I hope you find the house of your dreams. The urbs...well that comment is a little unkind. We have Spanish,Scottish, Swedish, and German neighbours here in La Marina and plenty of opportunity to practice your Spanish too if you want.
Loads of activities, sports centres and clubs to join for company with scarcely a fish and chip shop in sight. 9 charity shops where you can help...meet people and feel useful. Plus the best beach on the coast.
Torrevieja Hospital is second to none as regards up to date technology and care.
The photo is of our local green area with wonderful wild flowers and dog walking.

That looks lovely! Thanks for your comments...
We had a holiday apartment in la rosaleda which is on outskirts of torrevieja towards is mata. Los locos beach was a few mins away . If you are looking for a smallish property then this is a great area with all amenities. We have now bought a bigger property in benimar rojales which is slightly inland from guardamar . Different sort area as more open but very near to rojales Benijófar and lots of facilities. We have mainly British neighbours but lots Spanish in rojales. Love both areas
