Yes but not used it as not sure my dog could cope with the long boat trip. She is very self conscious(nuts really) over certain things but loves car trips

Man walks into the doctors with a steering wheel in his pants…doctor asks” what have we got here?”…. Don’t know says the man but it’s driving me nuts!! Boom boom! Sorry couldnt resist it!

Hi All,

I am driving to Spain single handed before Xmas as my partner can’t walk and bringing the dog. Can’t get a cabin on Portsmouth to Santander. Can anyone suggest the easiest way other than that. New haven to Dieppe or Portsmouth to Caen? Any ideas and suggestions of routes would be gratefully r...

Horses for courses really!  Depends on how much time you’ve got, if you wanna pay tolls etc. we’ve done all routes with dogs .  We prefer to do the tunnel, drive through France either paying tolls (eastern route) or (western) non tolls, mostly!  We’ve got a VW T4 so stop wherever we want which normally means 2/3 overnight stops. I find the ferries non dog friendly and expensive especially the dog crates!  I think the Caen route took about 6 hours so dogs stayed with us/in car.  Good luck. Xx
