I used premier pet travel to get both my dogs from Villamartin to Scotland. Their service was excellent, sending updates about your pets along the way. They tell you exactly everything that you need to do to move you pets from Spain-UK-Spain. Search premier pet travel on Facebook.

Why do you call them fur babies?

Thank you, Tebo, for asking this. I had wondered myself, finding it an icky phrase. But I didn’t ask, as it would only add to perceptions of an unsentimental logical woman, and I was SO afraid of being shouted down!

I can't understand why people use those names for animals 😕 also why they purchase expensive pushchairs to put them in. Can't do the animals health any good and could cause muscle wastage and weight gain.

It’s partly the fact that most of us, to a greater or lesser extent, anthropomorphise our domestic pets, which in fact does no good to them as it does not respect them as whom or what they are. Pushchairs, I agree entirely, except it may be the case that the animal may be unwell, too old to walk easily and needs fresh air? Although, interestingly, I have yet to see a Doberman, Rottweiler or Belgian Malinois in a pushchair?!!!

I use a pushchair when I take my dog into a crowded area like a market so she doesn’t get trodden on or jump up on people who don’t like dogs.  I also take the pushchair into shops at Zenia Boulevard and nobody ever objects.  My dog doesn’t like to stay home alone.

So why take your poor dog into a noisy overcrowded environment. Dogs can be perfectly well trained to remain in the house? My mother’s sequence of enormous dogs certainly were, as was the dog trained by the Police of which we had the care for a long time.

My 'poor' dog is an old rescue who wants to be close to me at all times.  Almost deaf and hard to train at her old age. She enjoys her trips in the buggy.  She also has 2 long walks each day.

Understood completely, but I have never thought it fair to an animal to subject them to loud, noisy , crowded places, unless they are trained to cope with this. I also have rescued animsls, cats.
