what is this with the Brits all making a fuss about pets....fur babies, rescue animals.....okay they need attention and care but not all this silly stuff...

You are missing the point, this discussion, and my comments, were originally a query as to why anyone referred to animals by the yucky term of furbabies!!!!

Their choice, I suppose. My dogs (a dog & a bitch) had names. ( sadly departed). The dog was called "D4". The bitch was........a typical "girl".  V

We drive with our dog   every year . We take euro tunnel     so we can be with dog all of the journey    .   Once your dog is registered with a vet in Spain  you can get a Spanish pet passport   which is much easier

Spot on save for cross channel. Me and my gsd used the Brittany ferry with pet friendly cabin for years. Drive through France and Spain is a joy in itself.
