MISSING FREESAT CHANELS

Mine loses channels at intermittent periods, ITV disappeared a few weeks ago so I went through the channel list and found another ITV channel but coming from Central rather than the Yorkshire one I had lost.

In Ireland I lost all the itv channels from my Sky package.  On googling, it looks like it might be a post Brexit licensing issue that kicked in during April. I haven’t tried to retune them, although there are instructions on a few forums. 

Thanks for the suggestions.   I have read somewhere that Sky is cutting millions of people off in the not too distant future. I hope you are not one of those.

My set up goes from the dish straight to the built in receiver of the tv and I also have a separate receiver that also sometimes loses channels.

I despair at help and comments sometimes they are not always helpful, you lose channels 2 ways.

1 your dish has moved fractionally, 2 Itv for instance have moved freqency on satellite so you all need to delete your old channel and re scan your boxes Astra 2 28.2 in your box when you scan scan make sure you scan FTA not all or you get all SKY channels that you cannot get to see.

OK, that's a bit of good info.  There is no chance that the dish has moved.  I'm not scanning for Sky but I think Freesat comes from the same place. I suppose I could do a re-tune on that, but I'm always afraid I'll loose what I have already got that works fine.

Are you aware if any Freesat channels have moved recently?  My ITV is fine but I think that issue is just with Sky.

Everything comes off same satellite only one place.

We are having the same problem with the same channels on a sky box. We sometimes get quest for example early in the morning or after 12 midnight but not at other times? 

I would say issue has been going on for about 3 months?

Re-scanned my tv last night and the missing ITV channels are still missing but I can still use the alternative channels.
