I am probably as confused as most people at the moment but i have read the new updates on travel and just a bit lost.

If someone can just verify

If flying in to spain from uk we have the covid digital form , plus hard copies as well 2 x vaccination and 1 x booster all within the 270 day ruling , that i understand but today am i to understand that if Spanish residents which we are with TIE card ect or in fact if just visitors as long as you have documented proof as per above you no longer are required to fill in the "passenger locator firm " 48 hours prior to travel or indeed not at all , i am sorry if this goes over all ground "again" but just to be sure . Thanks to anyone info needed

According to the Spanish government website, the SPTH code is no longer necessary, if you are fully vaccinated.

Go to, https://www.spth.gob.es/.           and fill in a few details.

I flew into Alicante tonight, and they were still checking the health control qr. I was a bit surprised. They didn't ask to see the vaccine passport (they'd get all that information from the qr code anyway)

My fiend is flying with Wizz air from Cardiff on Saturday. She has a digital Covid passport from the NHS which is recognised in spain as we all know. However the airline is insisting that she completes the SPTH form as it’s a mandatory requirement..! She’s had an email this morning saying so. We all know what that means don’t we? Disappointed travellers denied boarding for no reason…watch the news for this catastrophe to unfold over the next few days.

Are they insisting? Has she contacted them? I expect it is their systems yet to catch up.

My wife flew back to Spain on tuesday afternoon but with ryanair , upon arrival in alicante she showed her passport and TIE residencia card  at passport control , once through that there are some desks in the area of the carousels were you collect your suitcases,  they ask you for your digital or hard copy vaccination for covid but at no time did they ask for passenger location form once it was ok she went through to the exit without any problems at all. I know its just difficult as your dammed if you do and dammed if you dont but theres so many contradictions as jet 2 or ryanair dont request it but if wizzair or any other airline ask for it i suppose you have to follow there ruling, as you say so many could get caught out at departure airport if not compliant .

But I'm also reading some people are having to show it at some airports, I think some of the staff are not aware of the new ruling

The government website says no you do not have do, so really it's not up to the individual airlines,

As you say your domed if you do our doomed if you don't.

I will print off the government page and show that and see what they say before, as you say proberly easier to do it, but I would argue the point first, but that's just me
