Hi All,

We are UK based, and our car will need an MOT next time we are over in four weeks, for one week only. I understand that the ITV stations are currently on strike, will we be ablle to pre-book a slot for when we are in spain? I think that unlike the UK you cannot drive to an ITV station if the certificate is currently out of date? .We keep our car at the airport but rather than pay them to take it for the test we would pre4fer to do it ourselves, is this going to be possible given the current situation?

Returning a Non-Resident Tax form (Modelo 210) - 6 replies

Thanks again to those who kindly responded to my recently query about finding and completing a Modelo 210 return form in English. The advice given was most helpful.

I now completed a Non-Resident tax return in which I provided the IBAN for my bank and clicked the 'deposit' button.

Can anyone now tell me:

(a) Is there anything further that I need to do, or will the payment of the tax be deducted automatically from my bank account on 31st December?

(b) Do I need to get a NIF (Número de Identificación Fiscal) or is the NIE which I provided sufficient?

Non Resident Tax -- Modelo 210 - 4 replies

I'd like to attempt to do a non-resident tax return myself this year. I am aware that form Modelo 210 is required for that and I also know how to compute the tax. However, I can't seem to find the template for Modelo 210 in order to complete and return it.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

I'm moving to Algorfa in July.

I'm from Hungary but I've been in the UK for 13 years. I've got 5+ years experience in community care and I love it so I'm wondering how I can continue working as a carer in Spain.

I can work legally as I'm from EU but I don't know what qualifications I need.

My Spanish is basic at the moment but I'm studying
