Good Morning future Neighbors / Future Friends, 

We live in the UK and are purchasing a property in Los Altos. We get the keys mid March. I am looking for some recommendations and advice if anyone can help plesae?

1. What travel / medical insurance should we get? We are planning on visiting on and off throughout the year. We have GHIC cards also 

2. The property needs upgrading. Painting inside and out, all the pine on the kitchens, internal doors, door frames, wardrobes plus the bars on the windows. 

3. We need someone to replace the kitchen work tops and wall tiles or possibly fit wall paneling in both the kitchen and bathroom 

4. Do we need a house alarm /CCTV? 

5. Are the window bars a must have or has anyone removed them?

6. Furniture store recommendations  

Any help would be really appreciated.

We've been looking at house prices in the area and the ones we've seen ONLINE seem to offer much more for your money than a lot of other areas - which worries me!  What am I missing?

Hi, we come out about 5-6 times a year and are thinking about buying a car maybe 5-6k euros and keeping it at the airport.

1. Any suggestions for a company to use for parking?

2. A place or dealer to buy a car?

3. How to work out the cost of road tax.
