Just read an article stating have to have an invitation from local police for friends and family to stay in my holiday home. I havd heard of this but not sure if it applies to me. I am not a Spanish resident but have a holiday home. I normally come for 2-3 weeks at a time and coming out for a week in Sept with 4 other friends. 

Can someone interpret the following written statement in article just read in thd Daily Star:

The letter can be used to stay in Spain with a friend or family member who lives there for a maximum of 90 days. The letter is required whether you have or require a visa or not.

I assume it only applies if staying for maximum 90 days.

My wife and I bought a new home in Polop, and want to verify that our place has fiberoptic coverage by some company. So far we have called several companies without success. They generally say that there is no coverage. Is it because there is no occupation permit yet?

Regarding dog owners on Flora De Ponoig Polop urbanisation. I am discusted with owners who do not pick up after their dogs. If you are not willing then you should not own one. I constantly have to remove dogs muck from outside my home so hoping you read this and understand why I am upset.

Hi we have a holiday home and we had a slight issue with damp in the basement then just before covid hit we had a leak and this also made the basement much worse and we were all only able to visit a couple of months ago to inspect the damage.

We need recommendations for a reliable and trustworthy firm who can help with tanking our basement to stop the damp returning.  There are lots of cowboy builders here in the uk and presumably in Spain too so any help would be much appreciated.

Does anyone know of there are public bus services in Polop - La Alberca (behind La Nucia) to Benidorm?  

There are bus stops in La Alberca but never any buses or signs on bus stops.
I have seen the number 10 bus which goes to L'Alfa's del Pi, Altea and Benidorm.

Hi 

I have a property in Polop de la marina. Rental car prices are now around £400 for a week. It seems that buying a car locally and leaving it at the property might be a better idea. I have found where to buy the car however I am not sure what to do if it’s a private sale.

But in people living in Spains experience is there anything wrong with buying a diesel versus petrol. What taxes are involved ? MOT etc road taxes and even buying and registering the car. It will need 3rd party insurance as well so any tips on best place to get this would be helpful.
