Hola 👋 Is there anybody out there with experience of Firefly car rental from Alicante airport?

A friend visited for the week last week and picked up a rental car from them, he had already taken out additional U.K. insurance prior.

Car returned last Saturday with full tank of fuel. On Monday, he notices £156 lifted from his bank account by firefly. No email notification if this. He has tried ringing firefly but no answer.

He is unable to claim against his own insurance as has no invoice to show them 🙄

I will be going to the airport next week, so am fully intending to go to the desk and enquire on his behalf. I am considering making a banner to take with me saying “Don’t use Firefly” but on consideration will give them the opportunity to resolve 🤔

Any other advice as to how my friend can proceed with this would be gratefully appreciated 

FYI I only ever used to use Edi, Lara and Wiber with no problems whatsoever 🤞

Hi I really hope what I am about to say will change the minds of anyone thinking of doing this.

As some of you may know I own a pet service business. We get all different kinds of dogs and we have brilliant time together. 

However, this year in fact this last 6 weeks we have had four dogs arrive and the owners not collect them. Fair play two were at least honest with me and ask me to find them new homes which I done so but two were just dumped and the owners vanished. They paid me and disappered never to be heard from again. 

PLEASE STOP THINKING IT'S WHAT'S BEST FOR YOUR DOG OR THE BEST SOLUTION BECAUSE ITS NOT, IT'S THE WORST THING TO DO!!!! It's not fair on me or my family who they live with, its not fair on my customers who loose a place with us and it's really unfair on the dogs. We work legally and follow the legal route. If you don't want your dog, man up and up it up for adoption or hand it over to a shelter where it's going to end up regardless because we can't keep them if they are abandoned. It seems to be happening more and more, 3 of my regular customers actually found their dogs as puppies in a tied closed bin bag, its disgusting and unacceptable. So I now have a dog needing a home, if anyone wants one very friendly and good with other dogs.

Hi - I will be in Villajoyosa from 8 Sept to 7 October and want to play tennis with other people (Ladies and Mixed Doubles) so keen to join a local Club. I play regularly in the UK both socially and league matches. Are there any in the town that I can join on a pay and play basis or for a month’s subscription?

Also looking for a public swimming pool or hotel pool where non guests can swim?

Hiya everyone. After speaking with family who were wanting to move to Spain I had an idea. 

Obviously they can't just up and move here now since Brexit. However, I was reading that British passport holders can move to Gibraltar without the need of a visa. Why don't we now start to put this as a recommendation for all the people who ask about relocating here but have no idea of how difficult it now is to do?

I appreciate its still UK territory and the lifestyle is different but it's a lot closer to a Spanish life style in the sun than the UK and day/week trips over the border is easy or you can even drive to Portugal in a few hours for a weekend away.

Very rarely in Spain have found a good Barber, well now finally I have, absolutely brilliant. He was quick, gentle and professional. He spoke decent English aswel non Spanish speakers.
