We are a couple from Canada. We came last year to the area and really liked the area and the housing options.
We are spending a week this summer in a Villamartin in order to get a sense of what it is like to live in the area. I would appreciate suggestion of what we should do. We want to check out the local food, restaurant scene, gyms and other activities.
We love all sports. While we have a passion for football, we are happy to convince everyone that hockey is a great sport too. Just finished watching the Toronto Raptors go on to the Eastern Conference championship in the NBA! Go Raptors!

just recieved a email from the lawyer i brought my house through in August for 2018 non resident tax
i been asked by the lawyer for 100 euros plus vat to set up a direct debit and sort out the paperwork for the tax
At present i do not rent out my house and think that the lawyer fee is high for a bit of paperwork
Can anybody advise how much they pay for this service and also when it is due to be paid by so i get a lower price
as my actual tax is only 32 euros
i am coming over in june so if i can get a better price i can get somebody cheaper to sort it

Hi
We purchased a holiday home back last aug and employed the key holder who looked after the house for the last owners. He lives just a few doors away and initially we thought he was helpful.
We also have The iberdrola app on our phones so we can monitor our usage. We had a call from our key holder to say that our electricity had tripped and he had to call an electrician but he did not contact us for more than 24 hrs after finding out that there was a problem. He told us that the main rcd was faulty and had been replaced at a cost of 82 euros which he had paid. When we looked at our app it said that we had been using electricity the whole time and at no time had it totally tripped which would mean we had no electricity until the fuse had been reset . All our food had been defrosted which would mean that it had been off for a day or so , so it just doesn’t seem to add up ?
Do many people have problems with their key holders , is this common ? Not sure if I’m just being a little picky. ?
Your help and advice would be gratefully received.

Hi
I am looking for a delivery service from UK to Villamartin for an urgent drop to our villa of boxes and a couple of small items of furniture. Envisage it will take no more than a quarter of a Luton Van. Have considered doing it in the back of a Discovery, so gives an idea of volume. All items are boxed. Assistance is available for loading in UK and Spain.

Hola all
My partner Jason and I, are so happy as we are currently in the process of buying a new home in Los Dolses.
Initially this as a holiday home with a view to moving permanently.
How easy is it to make the move, if we come now we would both like to work part time, or start a small business.
any advise, I know once we have completed, we will not want to return to England and holidays just wont be enough :-)
all advise welcome
Nicola and Jason

We have property close to villamartin area and currently have a TV and internet package with Norton's. We do not live there at the moment but pay each month for the package. It seems to be that every time we come over we have problems and spend the first couple of days of our holiday sorting it out.
Can anyone recommend a company that offers good service that we can rely on for TV and internet (fibre optic would be great if possible)
