Lobster and missing text messages.
Both myself and OH are with Lobster for our mobile phones and thus far been completely satisfied.
In the last few days we've both noticed that verification texts, such as typicslly received when changing a phone number or personal info with a bank or sites liks Amazon or Whatsapp, etc. have not arrived.
Having just spoken to Lobster after first admitting that they were aware of the problem and that it was theirs (and Movistars as that's the network they operate over) they then changed their mind and blamed the various organisations for not formatting their messages correctly which I found a bit hard to swallow as it implies that it's a widespread if not universal problem in which case I'm pretty sure the press would be onto it and we'd all know about it already, especially with so many running pretty much their whole lives and finances by mobile phone.
That said it can be no coincidence today was the deadline for financial institutions to implement Strong Customer Authorisation (SCA), or Two Factor Authentication (SFA) as some might be more familiar with, which of late has been causing a few problems when attempting to log in internet banking.
