...eas. The urbanisations generally have more British run bars/restaurants, with lots of activities to get involved with.
I live on an urbanisation which is full of expats of various nationalities. I have a choice of 10 places to eat and drink within a 10 minute walk. But within a 10 minute drive I can visit Spanish towns of Rojales, Benijofar, Los Montesinos etc etc. My urbanisation comes under the municipality of Guardamar, so within that ten minute drive (or bus ride) I have a busy town, port, miles of sandy beaches and beautiful parks.
The location ticked all our boxes when we moved and that’s the most important thing you need to do now and find a location that feels right for you.

Your reply to my posting was very informative and has moved Guardamar de Segura to the top of my visit list. I can't consider
buying a property because of age, but I want to permanently retire to Spain so consequently I am seeking a long term let that
I probably wiil turn my toes up in. If you can provide any agencies or facilities that can assist me in gathering info and advice about the area, ie: ex-patcommunities, clubs and associations, it would be most appreciated.
