Hi,

Is your wife a UK citizen?  If so, she should qualify for state healthcare in Spain as your dependant.  You can check your wife's eligibility with NHS Business Services (they took over responsibility for overseas healthcare from the DWP late last year).

Regarding your Residencia application, do you already have an appointment scheduled for September?  You'll need to be able to provide 3 months' bank statements from a Spanish bank, showing either €750 per month paid into the account, or a lump sum of €9,000.

Hopefully, a member living in your area can make a recommendation for a translator or gestor, if you need help with the residency application and appointment.

Kind regards,

Kim

No appointment made for residency yet.

Hi,

No, you could follow "Jim's Guide" to obtaining residency - see the tab at the top of the page - it explains everything from how and where to make an appointment, to what is required by way of supporting documentation and where to pay the fee.  Even better that your wife speaks fluent Spanish 👍

Kind regards

Kim
