I saw them on the ground next to and below our apartment complex, when they brought them down.

Surprisingly enough, the bigger one of the 2 actually had a small flashing blue light on the side... Not kidding you.
By the way, how many of you spotted the lights, looked like aircrafts kinda, on Monday night at round about 10'ish, going over Benidorm?? +_28 of them...

Thanks, Looksie. I've heard of people saying they've had drones over their properties and didn't know who was operating them. Good to know that you saw the police with them.
When we were evacuated during the floods last September, the police used drones to monitor our properties, resulting in the arrest of two burglars, taking advantage of the houses being unoccupied. Personally I don't have a problem with them for legitimate purposes, but I guess that depends on an individual's view of "Big Brother"! 😄
Kind regards,
Kim
I wouldn't have thought anyone other than The Police or other enforcement Agencies would be allowed out to fly Drones during the current travel restrictions so Looksie is likely to be correct in his / her assumption .

I do not see it as an invasion of privacy, rather I see it as another example of the excellent work that the Police are doing to help protect us all.

John, I am not so sure of that. What if your good Lady had just taken a shower and was standing in the buff on your living room as the Police cam decided to zoom in ? 😮

Maybe I should invest in a drone myself 😁😕
Anyway, and in all fairness, I now noticed at one of these apartments where the drone did its thing,, there are some activities going on... Fire brigade 🚒trucks (2) 🚑 (1) and 🚔.. Just thought I let you know
