Life is too important to waste all this time bitching about what soon became irrelevant, move on.

Its Dominic Cummings who needs to move on. Straight to The Jobcentre.

That is a very immature statement to make. Goes beyond belief some of the one sided biased comments on here nothing ever mentioned about the opposition MPs who actually broke the lock down rules.
If there's to be debate let's make it sensible without hate and childish remarks. And yes I know we all have freedom of speech and an opinion.

"even the Shadow Attorney General says Cummings broke the law" - now there's a surprise :)
If the police haven't done anything about this there isn't much going on.
Agreed, most people have no idea how police investigations work.

The words I use to describe Cummings can't be used here or in public while I also use them for that struggling child Secretary of State and Social Care, Matt Cummings. Can anyone, even a devout Tory, believe a word he says or take him seriously?

Lancelot, In his case witnesses were not required. He actually admitted fully what he had done , the only problem is he omitted to accept he had done wrong and broken the guidelines.
Hence the totally justified uproar of most of the General Public

Lecky Les this is obviously an anti government debate and the only people who are going to agree are those that are biased, probably people on the left. I am fully behind Boris. There was a debate on here about the exact same thing last week and when I mentioned all the Labour MPs who broke the laws I don’t remember one person who came back and condemned them or even mentioned them, Admin closed it down, I believe it was getting a bit hateful. I think there’s a lot of selected bias on here.
If you want Cummings only to be sacked and not the others then it is you that is making up the (ONE RULE FOR US AND ONE FOR THEM) Your credibility then goes down the drain.
My comments are not directed at you personally but a generalisation of a lot of comments made on here..
As this thread is going the same way as the other I will bow out. Keep safe everyone.
Gemily, thanks for your comments.
In reply, and as you referenced me within those comments, I can only state I most certainly am not anti Government. I will state I am anti people with with Power within Government who break the guidelines and then use the highest rank in Government to allow them to get off with it even though the majority of the UK population think otherwise.

Leckyles then let’s condemn all those in power who break the rules and not just be selective of who we condemn, because of our political views. It appears we accept and don’t criticise other MPs or people who deliberately and blatantly break the rules because they apologise that makes it ok...?. I think I’m old and wise enough not to be hoodwinked by these people to actually believe they are genuine in their apology, they only apologise because they’ve been caught simple as that.
If Cummings had apologised would everyone be happy NO, people would still call for his head because he admitted breaking the rules, he is and always will be in a no win situation.
Since this thread other things have happened in the news what are people’s views on Barry Gardener MP who decided to join his fellow morons in Hyde Park and filmed himself not social distancing and then goes back into the Houses of Parliament.
And I call those people morons not because of the reason for their protest. I condemn those police officers in the US, but because the Bame Society are more likely to get this virus, they then question the government as to why. Well look at the Hyde Park and other places were they are gathering and then Gardener turns up I wonder who we’ll blame if the second wave comes.
Gemily, this thread is about Dominic Cummings, but thank you for your contribution,
LeckyLes
