Travel after vaccinated
After being vaccinated why would we need to have a COVID test before traveling to another country?
Any information from government on this ?

This is from the Gov.UK website. I have bolded the sentence I think is key in answer to your question.
Will the vaccine protect you?
The COVID-19 vaccine that you have had has been shown to reduce the chance of you suffering from COVID-19 disease. Each vaccine has been tested in more than 20,000 people in several different countries and shown to be safe.
It may take a week or two for your body to build up some protection from the first dose of vaccine. Like all medicines, no vaccine is completely effective, so you should continue to take recommended precautions to avoid infection. Some people may still get COVID-19 despite having a vaccination, but this should be less severe.
I understand that despite being vaccinated, it doesn't stop anyone being a carrier of the virus, thats the reason for a test.

Correct. As with the majority of these vaccines, you can still carry the virus. All the virus does is,hopefully, lessen your symptoms.
this will be like the flu virus. You may have a minor dose of flu. You could pass it on. You will need a regular vaccination to keep on top of the ever changing variation of the virus.

Just be aware you might well test positive as a consequence of vaccination. I am aware of several people who have tested positive after vaccination.

Post vaccination you may still be an asymtomatic carrier of Covid so can continue to test positive and infect others. It isn’t yet known. But the vaccine should reduce the severity of Covid should you catch it.

If you have had 2 vaccinations as well as little chance of catching covid 19 you have little chance of transmitting covid

We had quick tests in March at HCB Calpe. Results in 20mins, cost 40€ and were good enough to enter UK.
