Hi Nicci

Calpe is very nice I prefer the Arenal beach side because its less commercial and more spanish. Its worth the move you will love it specially if you are going to retire and relax. Lots of people to meet aswel. I am over that way regularly so if you need anything just let me know

Hi Thankyou Martyn

I do know Calpe very well and love the old Town , I walked every day from La Fusteria into Calpe via main road then walked back on the coastal route

Do you live in Calpe ?

No im 15-20mins away (usually due to traffic lol) in La Nucia but im at the Callosa side. I enjoy a good walk but not keen on a main road trip when there so alot of scenic routes lol. Sorry for asking this but looking at your picture.... Are you old enough to retire? ☺️

Well it’s early retirement 😊 but I’m not far off retirement age !

Yes the main roads were at times a bit scary but also the cliff walk had me slightly anxious!!

I like the walk up to the antennas just above Maryville, overlooking everything. I havent done the cave walk on calpe beach that goes up the rock....yet. How long you planning on staying? Are driving down from the uk or flying? With the pandemic it would be a much safer n good drive down.

I will fly but I think there maybe another lockdown, some parts in uk are already on strict restrictions

My area is ok at the moment so hopefully I can sort things out and find a place to rent for a few months

I have no family or commitments in uk so nothing to stop me
