As a spanish resident does my SIP card cover any emergency healtg cover whilst travelling thru other europian countries?

NO. You will need an EHIC Card, European Health Insurance Card., and / or a travel insurance , Ron

Well the dept of health l spoke to today said that if youre a spanish resident the Ehic is not valid. Only if your S1 form remains in the british health system?

Well, I am dutch and a dutch government office takes a premium from my income that contributes to the spanish health system.

They also send me at the end of every year an EHIC card, that I can use in all those Common Market countries including their colonies like French Guyana, Reunion etc.

How it works in the UK I do not know. I hope it works the same.
