Are you resident or non resident? Are you buying another property anywhere in the EU/EEA?

How long have you lived in the property you are selling? Is it your main home or a second home?

All these points will impact the tax liabilities etc.

If it is your main home as a resident for 3 years or more and you are over the age of 65 then there are no further taxes to pay.

Just the fees you already mentioned.

Er, no. However I assume the people that told you of the extra charges were referring to capital gains tax.

This is not payable by those over 65 years of age who are selling their main home after living there for 3 years or more. If under 65 you need to buy a property for more than you sold it for including the profit anywhere in the EU.
