We have recently purchased a property in Calpe, could someone please advise what happens to our mail as we don't have a post box? Does it get held anywhere or just discarded? Thank you

If you live in a community of houses or an apartment block then ask either the President or the Administrator of the community. It may be that you need to pay for a postbox (buzon) somewhere, possibly your local post office or some other shop or admin. place.

In this situation you would usually have to rent a PO Box from the Post Office and advise everyone/institution/organisation of your new postal address.

The main post office in a Calpe is very helpful, it’s a simple process and costs about 70 Eu per annum.

You want an Apartado de Correos which will allocate you a numbered box and a key. You can collect more or less at any time the office is open.

I’ve recently collected mail from the main post office in Calpe, quote your name, address and show proof of identity, I don’t know how long they hold mail for before discarding it or returning to sender.
