Seems pretty insulting (to many) when you draw such conclusions 😢 Shame

Tough.

If you don't like the (completely reasonable & grounded in facts & evidence) comparison, don't act like the Nazis did in the 1930's, simple.

It's really not complicated.

My grandfather loved insulting the Nazis. Seems the memory of the men and women who fought against the Nazis and gave up their lives fighting totalitarian hate are the ones being insulted. Lest we forget!

Oh look another example from history where welcoming refugees benefited the development of the UK, don’t tell Farage where his family roots came from 😂

‘The mass migration of the Huguenots would end up having a massively detrimental impact on France with the mass exodus ensuring fewer workers, less wages, less trade and production. The Huguenots had been very prominent in the textile industries as well as being from the more educated classes; this was therefore a big loss to the French but a considerable gain for their new destination countries who would reap the benefits of a skilled labour force.

The migration of French Huguenots as well as Protestant Walloons was staggering and some of the largest England had witnessed. They would soon make up the largest ethnic minority in England.’

Perhaps many Spanish are unhappy with ‘Brits abroad’ in the Costas and the way the landscape has changed as a result 🤔

Jesus wept...

The last time I responded to a comment like that, I received a polite message from the Admins telling me my post had been removed on the grounds of "keeping the discourse civil" so I'm not going to bother this time.

Casual racism's apparently fine but calling it out isn't it would seem.
