Looks like there was some potentially incorrect information given out by government officials yesterday as the BOE gives different advice.

SpTH site is being updated, so hold back those horses, and watch this space!

Lynn

Hello again

I've just been on the website and clicked a yellow box with EU Certificate and it's got a couple of questions on .. screenshots below.

If you haven't got a DCC you have to fill all the form.

Sue 😘

Hello,

On the UK GOV site, it says

All travellers

Before travel to Spain, everyone (including children under 12 years old, see Children and young people) travelling by air or sea must fill in and sign an online Health Control Form.

On arrival into Spanish ports and airports you must show the QR code (hardcopy or digital) issued when you completed the online Health Control Form before travel.

The additional documentation you must present on entry when travelling from the UK to Spain is determined by your reason for travel:

 Clive 🤔

Hi Clive,

thanks for the info. It may take a little while for the UK Gov site to reflect the recent changes in Spain. It would be wise to complete the SpTh form until the UK Gov site says otherwise. We travel in 2 weeks so I would hope it is clarified by then, though to be honest it is no big deal to complete the form, just one less thing to do if it's not necessary.

Aitch.

Hi Sue, the NHS covid passport is accepted as the equivalent to the EU DCC. As long as you have a valid pss it will be accepted.

Hello Aitch

All these new rules etc constantly confuse me.  I do have the EU DCC fully up to date with 3rd vaccine.  I'm due to go in May for a week, I will find out when I return 👍or it will become more clearer in the next few weeks.

Sue 😘

Fortunately the BOE of 8th April has cleared things up.
So if your vaccination certificates or recovery certificate fit the criteria then you do not need to complete the form.

Booster jab required if full dose was longer than 270 days ago

Recovery cert valid 180 days.

The mention of the PCR test was for 12 - 18 year olds.

Hello Lynn. Is it correct that as long as my wife and I have a recent UK Covid pass with proof of all 3 jabs, that we do not have to fill in the Spanish QR form as I have filled in the initial steps on the Spanish form prior to coming to Spain on the 9th May. And to be honest with you I am a little bit afraid of making mistakes on the form and having it rejected prior to flying. Many thanks.Bill.

Hope this helps,

If you are coming to visit Spain from the UK, there has been a change to the documentation you need to provide. If you have a digital COVID certificate, you no longer need to complete Spain's travel health form. Children under 12 do not need to complete the travel health form either.

Other requirements remain in place. If you are travelling to Spain for tourism, you must show proof of either:

- being fully vaccinated (with both doses of a 2-dose vaccine or one dose of a single-dose vaccine). Your final dose must have been administered within 270 days prior to travel to Spain or you must be able to show evidence of having had a booster jab

- having recovered from COVID-19 within the last six months
