I believe the way forward for International travel is for Carriers,Governments and major departure points to cooperate and develop a protocol which meets the following requirements
1.Testing which is fast reliable and not cost prohibitive
2.Fit to travel certification
3.3.Vacination certification
As systems and technology evolve and adapt to the new world reality,then all the above should become the norm
Maybe their is a marvelous market opportunity opening up for a return to your local high st.for the return of travel agencies in a new form to cater for the new realities of International travel

hi,
if you have a vaccination certificate surely you don't need a fit to fly certificate..
also i don't get all this new world order stuff.
its a virus that soon we will have a vaccine for, not the return of adolf....

Hotel Sofitel at terminal 5 Heathrow are offering a rest and test package where you stay the night before a flight - do a test- they lab them overnight and results are ready for you the day of your flight. Quite reasonably priced too when I looked.

You think that things will ever go back to normal
Well then
1.Commercial passenger aircraft industry
Has Not Received 1 single order or intent to purchase since Febuary
2.Not 1 cruise liner has been ordered either
Both industries and their suppliers etc
Employ world wide over 20 million workers
And that is only these 2 industries
The next similar corona virus awaits. Just around the corner
Far less the ever increasing frequency and ferocity of climate change
It most certainly not a new World order as you insuate
But quite simply a New and terrible reality
So either adapt and survive
Or all efforts put into return to what many believe is normality and Perish
Cause and effect
No cause shall ever arise that no matter what does not have a resultant effect
And no effect can ever arise that has no cause
With regards epidemics and climate change
The causes have already occured
So what we witness now are the beginning of the effects
And such are only the very beginnings
