Hi folks,how long does it take to do your nie and to open a bank account also where will we have to do our nie number as hopefully we will be buying in formentera del segura.

Hi Michael,

We live in Formentera and got our NIEs at Elche National Police offices. Do you speak Spanish? If not, best to get a gestor to help you - the one we used charged €35 each, although that was 6 years ago! You could contact Sunflower in Benijofar for a quote:

You can do it in Orihuela, you book the appointment on line. I charge 35€ for doing the paperwork and going to the appointment with you. PM me if you're interested.
